The sixth annual Traci’s Hope barbecue, held on Oct. 3 at Hickories Park in Owego, raised more than $33,000. According to organizers, approximately 1,600 attended the fundraiser and 286 motorcycles participated in the bike rally organized by Wheels Roadhouse Café.

Fundraiser attendees also donated 31 pints of blood.

Traci’s Hope, a local non-profit, provides financial support to local residents struggling with breast cancer. The support is for items not covered by insurance, such as mortgage payments and gift cards for gas and groceries.
