Traci's Hope successful

Once again, we of Traci's Hope thank the wonderful community for their participation in our fifth annual fundraiser held Oct. 4 at Hickories Park in Owego.

We are proud to say we have helped over 120 men and women in Broome and Tioga counties who are struggling with breast cancer by helping pay some of their bills. That is over $60,000 we have been honored to help with in memory of our daughter, Traci Gibson, who also had breast cancer. She wanted to help others with their fight by starting Traci's Hope.

A special thank-you to local restaurants, and restaurant supply companies who helped with food and paper products. We also thank the others who donated items for our raffle.

Our very special thanks to all of our wonderful volunteers, some of whom took out time from their families the last few months to help us. We couldn't have done it without them.
