It's the first ever miniature golf tournament for breast cancer at Skate Estate in Vestal.

Teams of 4 competed in the event, with all proceeds going towards Traci's Hope.

Traci's Hope is a non-profit organization that helps people diagnosed with breast cancer with their expenses.

"all the bills you can think of you pay at the end of the month, that's what we help them with. All kinds of bills, mortgages, rent, fuel oil costs. Some of them go out of town for treatment. With the gas costs the way it is, we help them with gas cards," says Gordon Shiner of Traci's Hope.

Organizers say there are many golf tournaments for a cause, but not everyone plays golf.

They wanted to host an event the whole family could enjoy.
