Students raise money for Traci’s Hope

At a school pep rally, Vestal Middle School students presented a check for $1,100 Tuesday to Brian Gibson and his parents-in-law, Mary and Gordon Shiner, for Traci’s Hope, named after Gibson’s late wife, Traci.

Middle school students raised the money by holding various fundraisers, including the sale of Traci’s Hope wristbands during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, school officials said.
