| My name is Sarah Ferguson and I spoke with Annette Gibson about a local lacrosse tournament that the Fighting 4 travel lacrosse team is hosting this summer, July 12th and 13th. The Fighting 4 Lacrosse Team is a travel team that is coached by Chris Mahon and Mike Karlson and is consisted of players from Owego, Vestal, Union-Endicott, Binghamton, Chenango Valley, Chenango Forks and Ithaca. The team travels to all different colleges playing in tournaments throughout the year.Our goal for this tournament is to donate the entry fees to the Alzheimer's Association, Parkinson's Foundation and Traci's Hope. We wanted to start up a tournament to give back to the community for being supportive of the Fighting 4. We chose the Alzheimer's Association and Parkinson's Foundation to donate to because one of the coaches father's has both diseases. We also chose Traci's Hope because it's a local organization that helps fund a disease that is becoming diagnosed more and more through men and women. Being from the Owego-Apalachin area, we know the Gibson son's and we want to give back to a foundation that their mother worked so hard to start.The Fighting 4 Lacrosse Team would like to invite you to set up a table at the lacrosse tournament on July 12-13th at Arnold Park in Vestal.
